Dr.
Julie Kruis Trochta B.Sc. H.K. D.C. Dr. Julie Kruis Trochta
graduated from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard Illinois
(1999), and has been using active release techniques (as a
Biomechanics certified provider) and chinese acupuncture with great
success. Dr. Kruis has worked with triathletes at the Ironman in
Kona Hawaii and Lake Placid, professional Volley-ball players of the
AVP tour in Chicago, and cyclists at the annual AIDS ride in
Chicago. Dr. Kruis volunteers her services to competitors in the
HSBC Triathlon Series, the Subaru Triathlon series and the Canadian
Junior National Rowing team. Dr. Kruis also works with the Brock
University swim team. Dr. Kruis is an ART certified instructor.
Dr. Oliver Trochta B.Sc. M.Sc. Clin Path D.C.
Dr. Oliver Trochta graduated from National University of Health
Sciences in Lombard Illinois (2001). Training under Dr. Hofmaier in
Villa Park IL, Dr. Trochta has developed a unique approach to
rehabilitation and nutritional management. He is a Biomechanics
certified Active Release Techniques and has been using them to treat
runners at the Women's Fleet Feet and Elvis is Alive runs in
Chicago. Dr. Trochta also treats runners competing in the Chicago,
Boston, Toronto, and New York Marathons. Dr. Trochta volunteers
services to competitors in the HSBC triathlon series, the Subaru
Triathlon series as well as the Junior National Rowing Team of
Canada. Dr. Trochta is an ART certified instructor.
Tracie Schmerling
B.A. RMT Tracie has been practicing massage therapy since
1998. She graduated with honours from Canadian Therapeutic College
in Burlington, Ontario. She has specialized in treating motor
vehicle accident related injuries, muscle strains and
exercise/sports injuries, and relaxation treatments. Tracie
has an honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of
Toronto in "Exceptionality in Human Learning". Previous to
becoming a Massage Therapist she worked for the Ministry of Health
in Aquired Brain Injury behavioural and cognitive rehabilitation.
Lisa
Wilson B.A. Kin RMT Lisa Wilson is a graduate from the
Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington, with a degree in
Kinesiology from The University of Western Ontario. Through her
personal involvement in marathons and triathlons, Lisa's key
clinical interests lie in motor vehicle accident injuries, and
injury prevention. through wellness treatment. Lisa draws on her
extensive experience as an athlete and personal trainer to develop
managable treatment and rehabilitation programs.
Lisa Caruso B.Sc. Kin
PTA, OTA, pilates instructor Lisa Caruso received her
bachelors in Kinesiology from McMaster University in Hamilton,
Ontario. Lisa is a Stott trained Pilates
instructor and has specialized in treating sports injuries, motor
vehicle accident related injuries, muscle strains and draws on her
extensive experience as a physiotherapy assistant, occupational
therapy assistant.
Martha
MacFarlane, B.Sc. M.PT. Martha has recently joined our team
at Healthy Body to help develop a comprehensive physiotherapy
program. Martha offers the latest in new physiotherapy techniques
and brings an added dimension through her extensive training in
Scottish Highland Dancing at the elite level. She has an avid
interest in treating sports injuries and motor vehicle injuries. She
also teaches pilates classes Our Pilates
program is not only for exercise and leisure, but excellent for
strength and condtioning. Pilates is structured so that
rehabilitation of a wide range of conditions is possible.
Teresa Countryman
C.H.A. Teresa offers courteous front desk service and
enthusiasm for chiropractic. She maintains high professional
standards and continues behind the scenes as the office manager to
maintain operations.
